Twitter can be a fabulous resource.
If used properly, it can serve as a pipeline into a rich world of resources and knowledge base you might not otherwise be able to tap into. As a focused, purposeful venue, you can connect and interact with a global community of like minded people who comment and share experiences on specific subject matter.
I’ve found twitter to be invaluable as a hub for all things geo.
The #gistribe hashtag was my first exposure to just a fragment of this larger ecosystem and there was no looking back after that first taste.
